Getting Started with IOBend v2.6.4
IOBend is a Unified Developer Experience Platform connecting workspaces, runtimes, secrets, and toolchains. Choose your preferred installation method below (Package Manager, NPM, or Certified Standalone Binary).
1. Install the IOBend CLI
Install via official Windows Package Manager:

2. Authenticate & Create Your First Project
Step A: Connect your workstation
Opens a secure browser callback to register your device and store an encrypted API token:
$ iobend loginStep B: Initialize and scaffold your project
Auto-detects runtime (Node, Python, Go, Java, Rust) and pins versions in iobend.toml:
$ iobend initStep C: Add an encrypted secret
Encrypts variables client-side via AES-256-GCM directly into the project Vault:
$ iobend secret add DATABASE_URL postgres://user:pass@localhost:5432/mydbStep D: Run your application with secrets auto-injected
Injects decrypted secrets into child process memory without writing unencrypted files to disk:
$ iobend run npm run dev
